I confirm too. feisty fresh install (release version). Sometimes in a first logging in my kde, knetworkmanager appears briefly in the systray and them disappears (and it not connects to the wireless).
After logging again, it appears and connect.
It is ramdom. I can not say exactly one frecuency (four logins, five logins...)

Installed with ndiswrapper of feisty.

The wireless works like a champ, so its not a problem of the Broadcom
Wireless.
