[Bug 109198] Feisty does not mount data DVDs (Kubuntu)

Public bug reported:

I upgraded yesterday from Edgy to Feisty via the Kubuntu Upgrade
Manager. Everything went fine. However, when I insert a data DVD to the
drive, it is not mounted. I have to enter "sudo mount /dev/cdrom
/media/cdrom" manually to mount it. Also I cannot eject the DVD, I have
to do it manually as well. Data CDs are mounted/unmounted (ejected)
without any problem.

Additionally, I have checked the "Disks & Filesystems" part of System
Settings, and I have found that the description of my drive is not
valid: it maps the floppy drive to the CD-RW/DVD-R device. Screenshot
will follow.

Here is the relevant part of /etc/fstab:
/dev/cdrom /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
/dev/ /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0

** Affects: kde-systemsettings (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
