Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdelibs

My external USB hard drives were not mounting consistently when I logged
in; different ones appeared on my desktop at each login. I had edited
my /etc/fstab (admittedly, not quite knowing what I was doing) to try to
get one external drive, "Shared Tank", to show up consistently. I think
I did something wrong, which caused the crash. I will return the line
in /etc/fstab to its former state.
