[Bug 99715] k3b crash pc

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

k3b crash the pc when k3b will start.
the result is the same if i start it at konsole or from desktop link.
th last i see in the console was the check for cd an dvd drives the whole pc stands still and i must reset the pc, str alt f1 ,f2 etc. wont work . 
software is  feisty  system at 2007.04.01 upgrade
