I just found something weird, might it be related?

The folder /sys/bus/acpi/devices/ only contains a folder called "acpi",
which is linked to /sys/bus/acpi!! So you can CD inside of that forever:

luis at ordenata:~$ ls -l /sys/bus/acpi/devices/
total 0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 2007-04-03 11:16 acpi -> ../../../devices/acpi
