[Bug 99942] guidance language select does not select language which is installed through adept

I am using kubuntu feisty, latest beta with all updates.
I upgraded from kubuntu edgy.
Download the language-pack-kde-te (and other telugu lang packs for kubuntu) using adept.
I cant change the language from System Settings>Regional and Language->Select->Telugu (from kde-guidance)
I tried to Install a new language from the system settings (kde-guidance).
System Settings>Regional and Language->Install New Language->Hindi
Now I can select language Hindi from the 
System Settings>Regional and Language->Select 
Why doesnt It show Telugu?
And I cant install Telugu from System Settings>Regional and Language->Install New Langugage->Telugu (Not Highlighted, it shows its already installed)
Why doesnt Telugu show up as other language?
