You're welcome.
In fact the the problem is the kdeprint's driver cache sometimes get corrupted, for a reason I don't know.
The idea is to perform that command in kubuntu-default-settings package, since this one is regularly updated.
I've fixed the package, and will upload it once edgy beta is out.
