[Bug 62629] Kamera ioslave is very slow

The Kamera ioslave is very slow at retrieving thumbnails from the camera
(ours is a Canon Powershot 410, but I think it is a general problem),
particularly compared to the KDE digikam application.  The following is
a link to a patch which aims to rectify the situation.  I haven't tried
it out myself though.
