My bug (61932) was marked a duplicate of this one.  Does that mean it's
confirmed?

Anyhow, it sounds to me like the REAL bug in YOUR case is that it's even
bothering to ask if you want to overwrite the config file.  Shouldn't
the pre/post-install script automatically merge your old config changes
into the new file?
