Isn't the inability to play FLACs a bug as-is? I cannot play FLACs (get the "There is no audio channel" error) with amarok-xine, but using Xine directly, they work... -- Amarok can't play audio after attempting to play a FLAC file https://launchpad.net/bugs/56475
