Thanks for fixing it at last (I hope =)), but ain't there a chance to have this in edgy or even in dapper as a bugfix? I mean the change to this packages surely is no new "feature", is it? I really wonder, since edgy just had an Release Candidate before the weekend and what point is there for an RC if not to fix final bus.
I've been struck by this bug yesterday after installing dapper to a new machine and it is more than annoying.
After restarting my computer yesterday I had this bug in every single Konqueror window and spent minutes 'fixing' those (they needed fixing in that way that I disabled the "bookmark toolbar which was shown erroneously on all of them).

Still I'm eager to hear what the fix is. I sure can do it on my
installed system, can I? Is it something I can do by changing some file
in /etc or such?

No need to bother reading the whole post, it's something I wrote in a
somewhat bad mood yesterday and mainly explains the bug.
