Uncommenting the line "TerminateServer=true" in kdmrc did the job for
me. I use Kubuntu 6.06 with an ATI 9200. Only now I've realized the same
workaround was suggested on this very bug report, but I was tired of
reading and I started messing up with kdmrc...
