Sure. How much time do you give him or should I open a new bug?
At least the symptoms are the same. As soon as the KDE desktop shows up you get a message of the kdesktop crash.

The buttun "Continue" from the installer does not respond on step 2
(time zone) and sometimes on step 1 (language). This is probably
related, right?
