Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok

Upgraded from Dapper to Edgy 6.10. When I try to install amaroK through
Synaptic, it says that it depends on amarok-xine, but amarok-xine isn't
being installed. When I try to install amarok-xine, the same thing
happens.Synaptic won't resolve dependancy properly in Ubuntu

This was on a laptop with a fresh Dapper install (so amaroK wasn't
installed before), then an Edgy upgrade. After the upgrade and update,
I went to Synaptic and tried to install amaroK.
