By redundant separator, do you mean that a separator exists at the
bottom of the menu that doesn't need to be there (it's at the end of the
menu anyway)?

If that is the case, then I can confirm: 
Kate->View
Akregator->article list
KDevelop->Window
Krita->Select
Keep->Settings
Kontact->Calendar->Actions
Kontact->To-do List->Actions
Kontact->Journal->Actions

I can not confirm:
Quanta->Bookmarks

This is all on the latest Edgy.

I'm not sure that this bug is very urgent, as it seems merely cosmetic
to me.  For perfect overall consistency, however, these extraneous
separators should be removed.
