[Bug 69846] error in /usr/bin/khc_docbookdig.pl when generating index for Application Manuals in khelpcenter

Public bug reported:

When generating Application Manuals in khelpcenter progress bar reaches
100% and the "Build Search Indices" dialog shows no sign of failure.
When I click  "Details >>" the following error can be found in the
"Index creation log:"
