What I want? Probably the same as you: Kubuntu to be an excellent
distribution :)

The problem I expirienced was that copying from one window to the other
sometimes didn't work: it didn't insert the text I copied but something
I copied before that. That could be because I copied with the mouse
first and inserted it with the keyboard - or the other way around. I
didn't know there is an difference.
