[Bug 45748] Installer crashed

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kubuntu-live

When attempting to install from the live CD, I selected manual partition
in order to select the partition on which to install the distribution.
I received a message box saying that the installer had crashed.  This
occurred in Kubuntu Dapper Drake Flight 7.
