[Bug 45686] [dapper] /etc/kderc gone AWOL

Hi,
  My /etc/kderc seems to be missing, I can see that it is owned by
kubuntu-default-settings, if I unpack the package with --fsys-tarfile in tmp then I can see it, yet the file isn't in /etc; if I uninstall and reinstall the package it still isn't there.

The net effect is that things can't find the extra profiles in the path
it sets up and my konqueror won't start since it comes from a kfmclient
with the profile option.

Any idea on how I track down why it is missing?

(package version 6.06-20 but it has done this for a few versions).
