Public bug reported:
Hi,
Today I tried adding a remote cups printer. I entered my password &
got the red box, I proceeded then when actually choosing a model for the
printer and loading the driver for it, I got:
"Unable to create the Foomatic driver [HP-LaserJet_1300,Postscript].
Either that driver does not exist, or you don't have the required
permissions to perform that operation."
Not sure why! I tried several times, with different drivers, same thing!
Anyway, I just hit OK and continued, the printer was added correctly.
And I can print on it.
One more thing, when I right click on it, and choose "Set as local default" I get "Unable to define printer HPfrontdesk as default. Error message received from manager:
client-error-not-found".
Not sure if this is a separate bug!
** Affects: kcontrol (Ubuntu)
