I also think it's time to close this bug. In some cases the freeze-ups were due to other causes (i.e. bugs in the kernel libata that have since been resolved). No crashes in months of using Breezy and Dapper. -- nvidia-glx crashes/lockups https://launchpad.net/bugs/13530
