Folder permissions
As root:
root at kubuntu:/home# ls -al

drwxr-xr-x 52 brandon brandon 4096 2006-05-03 19:02 brandon
root at kubuntu:/home/brandon# ls -al
total 31360
drwxr-xr-x 52 brandon brandon 4096 2006-05-03 19:02 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2006-02-05 11:29 ..
As user brandon:
brandon at kubuntu:~$ ls -al
total 31372
drwxr-xr-x 52 brandon brandon 4096 2006-05-03 19:02 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2006-02-05 11:29 ..
To reproduce:
1. Log in as user brandon
2. On panel, select button "System Menu"
3. On System Menu, select "Home Folder"
Konqueror starts up, displays brandon's home folder, and error message is
displayed.
Once the dialog box is acknowledged and cleared, files can be worked with,
with no issues.
