i haven't updated to dapper yet, i'm going to do it and report back about it.

I can say that the problem exists with kde 3.5.2-0ubuntu0breezy1 

it is very random the behaviouras soon as i start my session the error popups twice, and no more... after a while (3-4hrs) it pop ups again.

i tend to think that is related somehow to KAT , but i have not managed to probe it...

anyway i'm going to upgrade to dapper, and see how it works.
