[Bug 42905] Could not open cache - Adept updater

Description:
Binary package hint: adept

If I click on adept-updater in system tray and enter password I get the gollowing error:
The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem.

sudo apt-setup
Password:
sudo: apt-setup: command not found

sudo apt-get update works but does not solve the problem with adept
updater
