This bug was caused by a broken build script in the upstream  source, which has been fixed for some time. Updating qt4 to 4.1.1-1, as stated above, or, better yet, 4.1.2-1 would fix this fairly serious bug, as said above.

The bug also causes segfaulting on a semi-regular basis.
