[Bug 42403] artsshell -q hangs at logout

Description:
I'm using an audigy 2 and the on board K804 AC'97 Audio Controller on an
abit an8-sli board. Threaded open sound system is set as the audio
device in the kde control panel. Alsa is configured for the OS. When I
log out or reboot, X hangs until I go to a console and kill the
artsshell -q process that's hung. The logout/reboot will then finish.
