[Bug 42316] adept freezes while installing updates

Description:
when i install updates, frequently after downloading the packages, adept freezes while installing them. its hard to say when, it could be that it freezes just after  the updates where installed.
I cant reproduce it everytime, but in 50% of the cases it happens
