[Bug 36456] Window grows taller until bottom buttons obscured

Description:
While reproducing a problem (bug 36455), I pressed the Administrator
Mode button several times to re-enter my password. Each time, the window
grew a little taller until the buttons at the bottom were "below" the
edge of the physical screen, and so inaccessible.
