Jonathan, the upgrade was made using the last candidate release before
the final.

I can upgrade, but I'm afraid it will break my current instalation (That
won't affect my user data, of course). Do you know of any way of
"downgrading" if that happens? Or saving the names of my currently
installed packages to reinstall?

Anyway, I'm willing to do the upgrade if that helps. Do you have any
advise of how to obtain debug information, logs, etc in order to
properly report bugs?

I'll do it this as soon as I can.
