Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: krdc
I was using Kdrc to connect to my laptop using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. I
pressed Alt+F4 and it closed the krdc session on my guest machine which
is Kubuntu 6.06 LTS. I tried to reconnect to my laptop again and had no
mouse cursor what so ever. I switched to the "Advanced > Always Show
Local Cursor". It showed the mouse cursor as being a small black square,
but I was unable to to use it. I then went to my laptop and tried using
the connected mouse, and there was no cursor nor was I able to use the
mouse. I had to ctrl+alt+backspace to restart x. This fixed the issue,
however I still have the little black box for a mouse cursor when using
krdc. There was no noted crash and the logs show normal. Actually, I
also just noticed that everytime I start a krdc session with my laptop,
I have to manually select the "Always Show Local Cursor" otherwise there
is no cursor.
** Affects: kdenetwork (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
Status: Unconfirmed
