The problem exists when installing Macromedia Flash in Kubuntu 6.06 LTS too. 
I also had problems with sun-Java5-bin. It stopped 28% through the installation. Clicking details gave a license agreement, but the OK button could not be pressed by neither mouse nor keyboard.
