I think this ATI-fglrx problem is not just for ubuntu or a specific X
WM, as I told before, I have Slackware and I had read about this problem
in other distributions as Debian, Fedora, etc. Also people that tried
with just loading X (without any WM), having the same problem.

I wonder if my drivers are installed correctly (I followed all the
instructions). If I type "lsmod" fglrx is not displayed, also, "dmesg |
fglrx" doesn't display anything. But I know they are load in memory
because when playing a movie, It runs smoothly (much better that with
out the driver) and the driver is configured at xorg.conf, and I
ofcourse, having the "hang" problem listed here.

So, it is necesary to have the driver as module? how can I install the
driver as module?
