[Bug 49060] Slow and unresponsive on certain conditions
kubuntu at mekanix.dk

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: akregator
This is a bit hard to explain, but i'll try.
Certain actions makes akregator (and Kontact) unresponsive and put's the
CPU-usage through the roof (100%) for a "long" period (10-20 sec).
It happens when:
#1: When I first open aKregator and clicks All-feeds.
#2: When I change to "Unread" og "New" mode.
#3: When I click on an article to read.
#4: When I put aKregator in front.
#5: Scroll to the top of the article-list
What makes me think this is a bug and not just my PC being old and slow
is, that this only happens when I'm at the "first page" off the article-
list. If I scroll down, so the first/top story is out of the view
aKregator becomes responsive and fast.
I've seen this with breezy & dapper with KDE 3.5.1 through 3.5.3.
** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu)
