It could be ... In fact, the fun one was that I let this "stale" kmail
over lunch and when I came back, about 30mn later, the kmail window was
opened ! I did a couple of tests and it definitely takes more than 20mn
though.

It seems to stall when talking to the DCOP server. I'm adding a strace
log when I stopped it after 3 mn, the last read line that doesn't
complete is where it stops for ages when running strace "live", looks
like it's waiting for a reply from DCOP or something like that.
