[Bug 48389] KMail slows down while typing an e-mail

I'm using Ubuntu Dapper with the latest updates as of yet.

When I'm typing an e-mail in KMail, the typing speed slows down after
typing two sentences (or whatever). It's so slow I have to close KMail,
restart it and resume typing where I left off. And again, after typing a
paragraph, it slows down. I have disabled the as-you-type spellchecker.
