Same problem with X800 GT, AMD64. X starts with 'fglrx', but then i get
a lockup every time i try to switch to console, logout, reboot or
shutdown. Under Breezy everything worked just fine. With 'ati' i get a
'device not found', and with 'vesa' i get a lockup immediately. I tried
the above mentioned tips, but none worked for me (DRI and
UseInternalAGPART). Any help is highly appreciated.
