Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: superkaramba

Not sure if this is a bug or a wish, but still - can we please get rid of the stupid XMMS dependency superkaramba has? Nobody uses XMMS anymore, amaroK is the default Kubuntu music player and kick's XMMS ass. And even if someone did use it, why would anyone want a music player installed when he/she installs KDE utils? There is already a bugreport from someone who installed superkaramba and got XMMS steal his fileassociations to several music filetypes...

XMMS also pulls in obsolete stuff like GTK (1.2) and some other
packages. Not sure if superkaramba is on the install disc, but if so -
XMMS and GTK are wasting space in there. If not, maybe it could if it
didn't depend on XMMS...

** Affects: kdeutils (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
