Under the ppc G4 install on my 867MHz TiBook the default timestamp configures for actual GMT rather than local 
timezone! The installer tells me that it cannot access the hardware clock by any know method. Once the booted into 
Kubuntu I cannot access the system tools any attempt is met with the message "Conversation with su failed".
