I have now configured "ati" driver and I cannot get this problem with
OSS "ati"driver (did at least 5-6 logouts + several reboots without
problems), whille with "fglrx" driver I get this 100% on Logout (KDE End
Session) and sometimes on shutdown/reboot (I would say 50% chance) - I
have also seen it when doing /etc/init.d/kdm restart, therefore I would
suspect this issue is linked with X server restart and specifically with
fglrx driver.
