[Bug 28045] resume from suspend drops back into resume

Comment:
I belive this has something to do with the fact that the gnome settings
daemon responds to a sleep button push and suspends the machine. As a
result, you get both g-s-d and g-p-m trying to suspend the laptop which
results in two separate suspend/resume cycles
