Comment:
In my case, the first time I popped a CD for burning (CD-RW, needed to
be erased) k3b refused to work because I didn't have cdrdao on my
system. This wasn't a case of a problem generated by a non-default
option. It was in fact the first time I ran k3b and what I tried to do
was a trivial operation through the default options.
Therefore, having in mind that this happened on the first time k3b was
ran, k3b was running according to the default configuration and that it
refused to work because cdrdao wasn't present, I believe that it is
clear that k3b relies on a package which k3b's own package doesn't list
as a vital dependency.
