Public bug reported:

when browsing local storage media in Konqueror it opens them as internet
links, not the links to the local resourses. E. g., '/usr/local/' is
opened as 'system:/media/hda3', and '/media/cdrom0' is opened as
'system:/media/hdb'. Therefore the majority of applications (such as
amarok, kaffeine, openoffice.org) fail to operate the storage media.

There is an option to open system folder accessible through pressing the
right mouse button. However this should be the default action.
