[Bug 57504] Kate not showing in Gnome application menu

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kate

After installing Kate from the repository, it will not show on the
application menu.  The problem is in the
/usr/share/applications/kde/kate.desktop file which does not include a
category compatible with Gnome.

For instance, this description would cure the problem.

Categories=Qt;KDE;Development;

Other KDE applications might have a similar problem.
