Yep, I just created a new user, opened konqueror, and typed in
man:/xorg.conf.  Waited 2 seconds, then added a system monitor applet to my
panel, noted the 100% usage, then closed konqueror, it was still going.
FYI, I'm using kde 3.5.3, from kubuntu.org's repos.  I'm going to try
3.5.4and see if the issue remains.
