i don't have access to the computer at the moment it's at my workplace.
But I forgot to say that I didn't have any problems accessing the same site with firefox, so I assumed a problem in the dapper beta.

** Description changed:

  Having installed Dapper Drake 6.06 Beta 1, i could not view web pages on local net or browse ftp server on local net with konqueror.
  I get:
  "Zeitüberschreitung auf dem Server
   Verbindung bestand zu www.xyz.de an Port 80" 
  (timeout on the server
  connection to www.xzy.de on port 80 was achieved)
  and
  Beim Laden von ftp://ftp.xyz.de ist folgender Fehler aufgetreten:
- Keine Verbindung zu Rechner ftp.uni-kl.de.
+ Keine Verbindung zu Rechner ftp.xyz.de.
  (during load of ftp://ftp.xyz.de the following problem occured:
  to connection to host ftp.xyz.de)
