Thanks for your bug report.  According to the following wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/DellInspiron8600  most of the Special keys work in dapper.   Please test with Dapper and see if they work?

Also, which version were you using when you originally filed the bug-report?  Once the necessary information has been provided, feel free to re-open the bug-report.
