*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 38582 ***

In my opinion "apply" should be used here instead of an immediate effect - that's the way KDE configuration used to work. The immediate effect can have a few unexpected bad consequences, when the user expects to be able to "test out" a few settings. But that's not the point of the bug report.

The "Start during boot" setting definitely has no effect on my setup. I can change it to be inactive, but as soon as I select another service and go back to the service where I changed this setting it's active again. If I apply should be used or not - here the setting should not be reset to it's original state, since I didn't close the window.

If I close the window in between the setting will not be saved as well. So overall I really can't change "Start during boot" with serviceconfig
