Confirmed and workaround works ;-)

Just to recap the workaround for beginners.

sudo gedit /var/lib/dpkg/info/kcontrol.postinst

(comment out these lines so it looks like this)
#     rm -f /etc/udev/rules.d/025_logitechmouse.rules
#       rm -f /etc/udev/logitechmouse.rules
#       rm -f /etc/hotplug/usb/logitechmouse
#       rm -f /etc/hotplug/usb/logitechmouse.usermap
#       rmdir /etc/hotplug/usb 2>/dev/null
#       rmdir /etc/hotplug 2>/dev/null

(save the file)
