[Bug 40410] [Dapper] Adept can't open APT database

Description:
This is on a fresh Dapper Beta install:

I start adept and after I give kdesu my password this error pops up:

Window title: "Could not open cache - Adept Manager"

Message:
The APT Database could not be opened! This may be cause by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem.

I don't have apt-setup but I have run an apt-get update and that didn't
fix it.

apt-get works well tho.
