[Bug 39590] splash screen shown - despite unchecked in options

Description:
I have the dapper amarok 1.4beta3 package.
And when starting, it alway shows the amarok slpash screen, no matter if I turn it off or on in the options.

I filed this bug in the KDE bugzilla, but it is no KDE bug, but a packaging bug, please contact your package manager team, they said... ;-)
Here I am.
So, can anyone confirm this?
